1.2 Time Dillation Exercise JIF 103 Relativity

Answer: Not a good Idea because in a moving spacecraft although when viewing event on the ground that event will appear faster to the observer in the moving spacecraft the passing time interval measure is not. If the athlete running manage to finish within slightly longer time from world record holder Usain Bolt at 10 second. Due to time dillation, that 10 second will be recorded at a longer time than 10 second depending on the speed of the ship. Higher speed means longer time interval. In the end the perception of time measure and actual time is all relative which is why the theory is called relativity.
